Angel Food Ministries

The mission of Angel Food Ministries is to assist families in need on a monthly basis by providing boxes of $65 worth of quality nutritious food for only $30 each. They feed over 500,000 families a month in 35 states, so they are able to receive substantial volume discounts without having use out-of-date food or inferior products. Angel Food Ministries assembles a varied menu of fresh, frozen and packaged meats, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and other foods from quality, brand name suppliers. Generally, one box assists in feeding a family of four for about one week, or a single senior citizen for almost a month. There is no limit to how many boxes may be purchased, and there are no applications or maximum income limits everyone is welcome! Angel Food Ministries also accepts food stamp vouchers and even assists people in the process of applying for food stamp benefits.

Crisis Intervention and Advocacy Committee

Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed, but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2: 15- 17

The Crisis Intervention and Advocacy Committee (CIAC) has been formed to aid in meeting the needs of those in crisis by working alongside The Angel Food Ministry, Ms. Elises Pantry, The Soup Kitchen, the Chemical Recovery Ministry and ACOC at Cobb Deacons. The committee will serve as a central point of direction by providing an initial intake process and contact information to various city, county and state agencies in an effort to avoid having the individual in crisis attempting to navigate through the various resources available.
